I looked at all the system preferences and I cannot figure out how to change the color of the top Apple taskbar. Mine is blue, my friends is transparent and I want mine to be transparent but I cannot figure out how to change it.

Are you sure it's not just the wallpaper you're using? Try using the same wallpaper as your friend and see if it's the same.

is your desktop blue?

Hmmm... Good point. I havent changed the wallpaper in months so I will have to change it and see if it changes. Is the taskbar come transparent by default?

yes it is meant to be transparent in leopard but some have been reporting that theirs is solid grey.

becomes solid below a given graphics capability. I've found below 64 MB VRAM, even with core image cards makes it solid.
