it seems coreduotemp does not work with Leopard, which is a shame. Are there similar temperature and performance monitors out there? I say this because it seems my mbp is running about 10degrees hotter on average than in tiger (45 vs 55 degrees).

smcFanControl works with Leopard and lets you show the temp in the menu bar. iStat Pro also works with Leopard.
