this is my first Mac OS upgrade (tiger to leopard). and while i don't have too many issues i was just curious how long apple typically takes to start issuing fixes after an OS release.
thanks.

It varies somewhat, but a month or 6 weeks is around the average.

The first update will come in the next few weeks. It will repair all the major problems that people are having so far. Then the .2 update will come a few weeks after that and start the normal update schedule.

I hope they fix the animation performance problem (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=377595) in the first update. Right about now Flip 3D's lookin' pretty good...
