invisibleSHIELD scratchable? YES!!!!

Hello lads,

Today I took the oppurtinity to really test the shield if it can scratch because I got a new from from Zagg because the old one had a few creases in it. I got it of my iPod and applied it to an old TV. I used a fingernail scissor to scratch it with the sharp ends. And yes, it is definatly scratchable, you can definatly see where the scissor hit it but the device underneath it has no damage AT ALL. That's where it does a good job.

Advice: Don't think you can do everything to the shield, still be carefull with you iPod so it will stay beautifull:p:cool:!!!!

Well, I'd imagine it being scratch-able, but then you'd just get a new one. It means more money for the company, and you still have your screen protected.

i just dropped my ipod onto my bed (1 ft drop) and it landed ontop of my apple remote, scratched the invisable shield. So they are pretty easy to scratch.

I have them applied on my Macbook also and must say I am impressed.

I did a similar strength test with them (video here, personal review here) with a key and while the shields are scratchable the protected glass had none.

very good stuff...especially like the life time guarantee.

The Invisible Shields are great! I have a very similar product on my motorcycle to protect against rocks and bugs. My only complaint with the Invisible Shields is that if you have your phone with the shield installed in an actual case, and the case's lining has be dyed, then the shield absorbs some of the color. I have a few greenish areas on the back of my iPhone now because of the color of the lining in my Waterfield case.

ya thats what happens
the scratches show for a bit then their disapier or u can wipe them off:D

i highly recomend it

This needs to be cleared up: THE FRONT OF THE IPOD IS IS IS IS IS SCRATCHABLE!

Yes its very scratch resistant, but i have a small scratch on mine, just from having it in my otherwise empty pocket, and some people on this forum have some very nastsy scratches on it.

Now i have my I.S, i can chuck it in my pocket with keys/coins/etc without having to worry about it.
