Final Cut Pro ?? Where's Motion?

Hi,
I am new to Final Cut Pro, (and macs), as I have used Avid on my Pc...
I have a question. When I installed Final Cut Pro, and Motion and Live Type etc...I noticed there was a Motion folder. (when I installed, not after)
Now I can't find it anywhere.
My question is this...Should Motion have it's own folder somewhere or is it just an "add-on" to Final Cut Pro? where I could see it once i open up Final Cut Pro...
Where or How can I ensure that Motion is there and working properly?!
Installed on a Leopard machine.

All the Final Cut Studio applications are located in the Applications folder (they are not inside sub folders).

Were they in the little white disk image thing?

Because If you're new, that is sometimes confusing because it looks like a hard drive. Anywho, I'm almost positive you have to install FCP and Motion (and Live Type) all seperatley. Did you do that? If you did, then yeah, they should be in the applications folder.

yes, i installed them separately but they are not in the application folder.
the only thing there is Final Cut Pro. I know it installed because my disk space is gone. when i try to do a search for motion i find a couple motion videos but thats it.

If you have a legal copy of Final Cut Studio, you don't install them separately.

Is yours legal?


Try running setup for FCS again - it'll install what's not been installed.

no, i downloaded it. is that illegal?
i'm gonna try to install the motion again, i just didnt want to try it because like i said, my disc space went somewhere.
