Okay, this is probably a silly question but:
I have an Ipod classic 80gb and I run an old G3 which only has USB1
Whats the best way to recharge my ipod?

When I hook it up to my PC which has USB2 it wants to reformat my iPod for PC. If I leave it plugged into my USB2 on my PC will it recharge?

You should be able to plug it into the PC and charge it -- I guess you can either leave iTunes running and ignore the message, cancel and eject the iPod, or else even leave the iPod plugged in while the PC is sleeping. Alternatively, you can plug it into a powered USB2 hub. Or, of course, you could get a charger.
