Not that I disagree, but it is also not the kind of publicity Apple needs right before an announced upgrade based on a Moto chip. Why buy a product if the Company CEO is bad mouthing the supplier of parts.

Jobs allegedly characterized the G4 as a "Tonka Truck", a "toy" compared to the G5.

His comment doesn't sound all that bad. Can remember the Tonka Truck as real tough toy growing up, they were made of metal. A real work horse.

He probably should not anger Moto until the switch to the G5 is complete. Apple is going to need them for a while yet!

also, another point i want to add. didn't apple start dual processors because moto couldn't keep up? and now there is the possibility for them in powerbooks? why? IBM should start making G4s.:mad:

Yep, pretty smart move from Moto: Apple was made to buy twice the amount.... even more sales!! :D :( :mad:
