Can BestBuy perform warranty service?

My local BestBuy has an Apple Store inside of it and I remember reading on AI that since they were selling macs they also trained their staff to service them.
Does this mean that they can perform in-warranty service for Apple hardware?

If they have the geeksquad work on it I'd RUN.. just looking at those guys makes me scared for my baby (no offense if anyone here works at BB)
