Did anyone who is using Motion install this update ? After the last graphics fix from Apple Motion was broken - therefore I want to be sure before I install this.

That would be because leopard doesn't need the update

This update fixed a stuttering problem in World of Warcraft and I hear it fixed problems in Second Life among other things. As stated before, these fixes were included in Leopard.

I've heard reports that the problems aren't fixed in leopard. IE, people having the same crashing problems with SL and WoW on leopard on these machines.
I suspect they update just isn't ready for 10.5 yet. Probably in the next few days.

Mac STILL hasn't fixed the issue. I ended up stripping my computer down to zero by doing an erase and install twice. It was only after I refused to install The software 1.1 update that it finally worked fine. Sadly I installed the 1.2 thinking it was fixed, and its back to freezing now. GRRRR.

this update didn't fix the "tearing" horizontal lines when viewing footage from hdv sources in fcp either, some say these got fixed in leopard
edit
yes, the fcp tearing got fixed with leopard and the leopard update

Hopefully as I have yet to play Call of Duty 2 on my mbp. This is effing ridiculous. I've had it since June and they havent addressed the sh***y gpu drivers for the nvidia cards yet.

I get a kick out of it when people call Apple "Mac".

I think the two are interchangeable. Mac is just short for Macintosh, a type of Apple that they named their older computers after. It was shortened, became slang and then associated with Apple as a commonly accepted term.

I attempted to play Cod2 on my MBP and the stuttering problem was still there when i put the max fps on 0. When set back down to 45 the stuttering stopped, this update did not fix anything, same place we were with 1.1.

Yeah, we need one of these for Leopard, Apple!! I just bought Tiger Woods 2008 and half the time it locks up and I have to do a hard reset. I have almost reset my mac as many times as I ever had to hard reset my PC... Sadness!

To update or not to update, that is the question.
