I'm just wondering if it's true that Doom3, Call of Duty 2, and Civilization 3 all run fine on a MacBook?

I play call of duty, civ 3 and 4 on my powerbook with a 64 mb geforce 5200. The current macbook GPU is better than mine. It should all do fine. I can't speak for doom 3, I didn't find it playable with my system... it ran but killed the fun.

Actually mines fairly old also. About a year or so old.

But now that I know that Civ. 4 works I'll probably get it.

Whoa! Wait. In that case my GPU is actually better than yours. I have a 64 mb dedicated nvidia card whereas yours is the intel gma 950...

I'd look through the other threads which have posts from users of the old macbooks talking about which games they play.
