Sony DCR-HC38?

Is this video camera compatible with macs? I'm thinking about picking one up for home video stuff. Let me know what you guys think? It's between this Sony and the Canon ZR850 . . . from what it looks like the Sony seems better on almost all aspects . . . Thanks

I have an HC36 and it works fine with Final Cut Express. It's a meh camera though. I don't really like the touch screen. Thinking back I probably should have gotten a Canon, but it serves its purpose.
