.exe is an executable, it's not a video.

Try dropping it onto StuffIt Expander.

.exe is an executable, it's not a video.
the .exe is probably a (stand alone) flash player which plays a flash movie embedded with it.
the idea is that you don't have to have flash player or flash plugin installed on your computer to play it.

Well that was my point. It's not a video file. It's either a self-extracting archive or an embedded media file with it's own player.
In either case you don't need a media player like Quicktime or Windows Media Player (unless it extracts a video file and then the extension will not be .exe). Asking for a Media Player to play an .exe file makes no sense.

I've run into these before. It's just a regular rar file with self-extracting code in it. All you need to do is rename the extension from .exe into .rar and then decompress it with an unrar utility like MacPar Deluxe.

Depending on the source, you might want to wonder if it is a virus, trojan or worm designed for the Windows world.

this is without doubt some sort of virus aimed at PCs.
you were looking at some sort of "website" which prompted you to download what you thought was a movie, but was in fact their own vicious malware
tread carefully

If the suffix is ****.exe.rar then you can bet your bottom bippy that you have acquired a keylogger or a browser hijacker masquerading as something or other.

I have some videos which extensions are .exe, and I also have the lastest flash player and I cannot run these videos.
If any one know how to play them, please answer.

.exe's are not VIDEO formats at all. Maybe some player which includes a video. OS X is not compatible to .exe . .exe's are Windows executables like .dmg on Mac's. I don't recommend opening these .exe's before checking them with an antivirus program in Windows !
