View Full Version : iMac screen problem! Arg!

I have a big purple mark on my screen with what looks like little dots around it. It can only be seen when the screen is black. Looks fine any other time.

Anyone have any idea what this could be? I'll try to get a picture up.

24" iMac by the way.

Oh my, that's ugly. Almost looks like pressure marks doesn't it?

Looks like a 'bruised' (pressure-damaged) screen, I'm afraid....

It's anoying me the thought of having to send it back. I waited 2 weeks for it to be delivered and i've already sold my PC.

Is sending my iMac back the only way i'm going to get rid of this do you think?

I'm tempted to just put up with it.
