Brother bought Leopard Fam. Pack, installed it and it won't recognize my password!?!?

So my brother bought Leopard Family Pack and burned me a disc of it so I could use it. Once everything began installing I went out and came back to see the log-in screen that has my user name and asks for my password. So I enter my password and it doesn't recognize it. It goes to a blue screen for 2 seconds and then goes right back to the log-in screen. What's the problem here?
 
Why couldn't you use the original disc? Anyway, boot from the disc and try using the Password Manager to reset your user password.
