for anyone out there who has issues with fileplanet, there is a simple solution. The absolute easiest way is to use Firefox, install the UserAgent Switcher extension, and use the following settings whenever you're at fileplanet:

(the last part of the cut-off line is: Gecko/20071025 Firefox/2.0.0.9)

for Safari, download the Safari Enhancer and change Safari should identify itself to websites as" to a windows browser (it'll be marked in parenthesis)

For Opera, there is a workaround, but it's a pain in the butt. I would advise trying one of the above solutions.

Make sure you only set a new User Agent when you're viewing fileplanet (or any other sites that are incompatible with Safari or Mac in general.

Hmm...I used Fileplanet last week without any problems in Safari, without having to do anything special....
