when i spoke to them they didn't even know what time it was out... said Apple hadn't announced yet.

Yeah that's pretty much what they told me. She said details would appear on Apple.com first and then the shops would know.

I have no idea what to expect - but I will be going along about 6.30pm - I have no idea if I will be standing in line for ages or what to expect.

I have this thing of wanting to get it from the Apple Store though rather than one of the O2 stores - I have no idea why. Madness I guess. :D

I have the same need, an O2 or CPW store just does not feel right :D

I'll get there at 1pm and there will be no queue at all hehe. Well I hope that's what happens. Store shuts at 2pm so I imagine the queue will not form as such until after this time?

redgaz I'll look out for you, be sure and stand with your thumbs up like that for easy reference :D

With any luck it will remain dry. On the plus side those new readings do have the temperature up by 1 degree :D

I think I'll have a browse in the Apple Store tonight and see if I can get any last minute information from them.

Regarding credit checks - People should not concern themselves with this, as O2 expects a minimal amount of customers to fail.

The sight of these tonight filled me with fear, not at all helped by the Apple Store staff insisting that the queue will be massive and that they expect people to start appearing overnight. Oh they also made it sound like they have limited stock but I'm not sure how true that is.

Excuse the bad photo:

They had more of these on the other side of the store front.

they had them for the store opening! it was busy then but i think it will be busier tomorrow.
what does limited stock mean? to be honest i don't think half of them know what's going on.
any way sneeks not to worry we'll be there early enough!:D:D:D

Just driven by the Apple Store from the old fruitmarket party where Glasgow won the Commonwealth Games 2014 and the queue looks to be 50-ish now. I was going to take a picture from the car whilst stopped at the traffic lights but they changed before I could whip it out

Don't know how many were actual queuers or just folk stopping on their lunch break to tell them to get a life...
