Dock issue

I have an ipod touch 8 GB, running 1.1.1 and I have BSD and community installed along with ssh. All the apps I have dl'ed via installer have worked great. Since I want google maps, but can't figure out how to get the iphone apps on my touch, I decided to use docks to take a screenshot of a map that I bring up online. Only thing is, the screenshot feature does not work. I uninstalled and re-installed.

The app selection feature works, just not the screenshot thing, any ideas? I appreciate any help on this, it is a little thing, but quite annoying.

what do you mean by 'it doesn't work'? You realize the screenshot option in dock is saving that picture on your ipt harddrive and can only be accessed through finder or via ssh...
