Im in the market for either a 900MHz iBook (12" or 14"), or a 12" PowerBook (combo drive).
Is anyone looking to sell something like this? Let me know.

I've got a 900 mhz ibook purchased the first week of May 2003. Box is mint and clean. All original software, plugs, wires as purchased. 640 mbs of memory (128 built in and 512 mb dimm). 40 gb harddrive. Machine works perfectly. Has slight smudges on inside next to track pad from use. Outside of ibook is nice and clean with typical scratches from 4months use. Never dropped. Never hurt. I upgraded to PB and this is my backup machine. I tried to sell on ebay, but buyer backed out on me. Make me an offer!
I accept paypal, money order, check, whatevah.

Oh, sorry. I forgot. This is a 12" ibook with a combo drive. Burns super fast.

just a comment the powerbook is a better choice because of one thing g4, g3 has no altivec/velocity engine or whatever they call lately. new updates are almost here.

that is not necessarily true. it depends on what macaztec will be using the comp for. if he simply wants websurfing, typing, the iApps and occasional photoshop then the ibook is an EXCELLENT choice.
having said that however if he will be doing more pro-oriented activities like constant use of PS or another "standard" altivec-influenced app, then the 12" powerbook would probably be a better choice.
I don't like how people automatically discount the G3 iBook as horrible and unusable for anything. It is still a great looking machine, that will do most people's tasks fine, it also runs significantly cooler than the 12" PB; something every laptop user will appreciate.
So umm in conclusion:
ibook=great
pb=sometimes better
