Description:: Importing emails from Tiger Mail into Leopard Mail doesn't need to be a headache. The method is the same as re-importing emails into Tiger Mail. Nothing's changed. Just follow the steps for creating a new mailbox in your ~/Library/Mail/Mailboxes folder and copying the messages across in this old Hawk Wings step, and Bob's your uncle.

Or you could backup your Tiger system to an external hard drive and then use Migration Assistant to do all the dirty work. Worked great for me.

I just upgraded Tiger to Leopard with my mail still in place. No problems :)

The To Do functionality is surprisingly useful.
