How can i get more then then 4 third party apps on my phone?

Make sure you download community resources, and then summerboard. Summerboard allows you to have more icons on your home screen by dragging the screen to the left. Also, make sure screen dimming is set to OFF or it will crash constantly.

As an alternative (or in addition to), I LOVE "Dock." I like the starburst-in-the-corner and used it on 1.0.1 in addition to Summerboard. The only thing that I was using Summerboard for was to have wallpaper on the background. Now, on 1.1.1, I'm only using Dock. Works great and leaves me with a clean, barebones screen, with access to all my programs still.

Wait until next year when there will be more third party apps than you can count and they will not ruin your iPhone when you install them.

Or not... I have never had a single crash in these "unsafe" apps. Not something I can say about safari...
Yeah i find it funny that the stock app Safari directly from Apple has more problems and crashes more than any 3rd party apps ive had
The biggest issue I've had with 3rd party apps is rarely the phone will freeze, but turning it off and then back on always works. Its happened maybe 5 times in the month since I've had 3rd party apps.
Have to say though, besides being fun to try new apps that come out, the only ones I like are nes, labyrinth, and customize(to change stock images around). Might be adding the gas app(finds the cheapest station for you) and the money app(tracks your spending(waste to much on crap lol)
