Positive article, and the writer makes a good point: even though OSX is simple, you can't just sit someone down in front of it and expect them to figure it out. Even users of OS9 need a quick tutorial on how they do the things in X that they were used to doing in 9. After that though, I've found converts extremely happy that they are using a solid and reliable os.

That's right, I switched from Windows earlier this year, and it did take me a while to figure out how to do things. I've used OS 8 before, so that would've helped, and I'm not afraid to click things and try them (if the worst comes to the worst, I can always reinstall the OS).

Well that another good pro-mac article.
But again adding to the Mac-ness of Mac Os X you could have gone to 'Force Quit' Instead of terminal --- > Top.

A very refreshing article. Some of his quotes wouldn't go too badly on Apple's Switch pages.
The main difficulty I've always had with switching between Macs and PCs is the Cmd/Ctrl business. I use ctrl-c/z/v/a etc all the time and find it a pain using different strokes on different OSs. That said if you're on one macine for a while it becomes second nature.

Apple should REALLY include a quick-reference card for OS X... general tips on one side, and ones for Windows switchers on the other. It could be very basic and cover just a few key points.
A second card should hold "advanced" tips like option-click fun and where to find some common Preferences stuff.

Update: Looks like Apple are quoting him on their Hot News (http://www.apple.com/hotnews/) page.
