I'm looking to post a few MP3s that I made on a very simple website (don't know html). Not many people would be downloading these...Do you know where I could do this for free?

Any free webhosting site. But they won't let you host mp3 files, so just change the extension from mp3 to something else, ie, txt, jpg, exe, zip. And tell people to change it back to mp3 after download.

Unless they want RIAA's lawyer go treasure hunting in their bum.

Why would the RIAA care about the songs I made at home for a few friends?

that would be a great way to get back at the RIAA, create a bunch of mp3s make sure they are the right length and swap their name to a popular track and stick them online. then when the RIAA spends thousands of dollars to illegally hack onto you computer, they will find out that you aren't doing anything prosecutable and will feel very stupid for wasting all the time and money.

As far as web hosting goes though, I would suggest www.freewebs.com

I have been using them for quite a while and they have an excellent service with excellent prices for the extras if you ever decide you might want some
