I have been using my computer and everything for a long time with no problems.

Today I plugged in my iPod and every application that was running (including the Finder) quit

I rebooted and tried plugging in the iPod again and the same thing happened

I rebooted again and didn't want to mess with the situation anymore so I didnt plug in my iPod and I went on with normal computer use.

At this point I discovered that I can not drag any file or folder anywhere. I rebooted and the problem persisted.

Not being able to move files seems to be the only problem with my computer right now...

Please help!

When I try to move files or folders nothing happens... It just wont drag

I have not yet tried to do a file system check or repair permissions... I think I know how, just use the Disk Utility, right?
