Dot .Mac is worthless as an email application!

Gmail does an excellent job of culling out real emails from spams. Dot .Mac is worthless to the point that I can't even use it.

I can't believe that Apple can't figure out that a message in gibberish is spam. 😱

I use both. Gmail gets plenty of spam. I hardly get any spam on my .mac account. They are both good in their own way.

I get absolutely no spam at all on my .mac account. I just checked and nothing at all.

Gmail gets very little but a bit more than .mac.

Do you have junk mail filtering turned on? Log into your .Mac account and go to Mail Preferences.

YES! That's the think that kills me! Apple thinks those messages are legit even with the spam filter turned on!
