how can i protect myself in leopard

i use a wireless internet connection, and under Shared is a computer i dont know, how can i get rid of that or block anyone from accessing my mac?
 
Macs are inherently secure, but you can turn the firewall on in the tab of the Security preference pane 🙂
 
Don't know if this is your wi-fi. If it is you gotta password protect it. Someone could do something illegal using your signal.
