After being totally annoyed with trying to install XP with Bootcamp, (couldn't get slipstream to work) I've decided to buy Vista instead. As I use Leopard for almost everything I do, it will only be for gaming, so I had a few questions:
1) Would it be worth paying the extra to get Home Premium over the Basic? What are the benefits of Premium with gaming, if there are any?
2) I've heard around that SP1 will be coming out sometime soon, so I was wondering if bootcamp would eventually need a full install of Vista that includes SP1 to run, just like it requires XP to be installed with SP2 in one shot. I would hate to buy now and then figure out that i've just been screwed out of $200.
