Speech Recognition quits after a few minutes..

I'm having problem with Speech Recognition in leopard

my mac configuration is 12" Powerbook G4 1.5ghz, 768mb Ram

I try to launch speech recognition, it launches but it doesn't work when i press "ESC" key to speak. It just quits after a few minutes. Mic calibration works.. and text to speech works..

anyone having the same problem?
