Has anyone heard anything beyond this:

about the NikoTalkie paid minutes where you can call real phones? I e-mailed them but never heard back. Skype for iPhone is horribly useless.

Nikotalkie 1.4.2 allows to call real phones, but its not a real voip solution, you still have to pay incoming minutes + nikotalkie rates.
Hopefully there will be a SIP client soon, so we can talk for cheap/free.
