I just saw a story about unlocking the game Dark Castle on the iPhone, but can't get it to work. Has anyone here seen it or had any luck?

I'd really love to get that working... I used to play that game all the time!

They forgot to mention to rotate it CCW, if you live in S latitudes.

Serious ROFLMAO!

(though, I'd like to eat my words - that was a great game and it'd be nice to have it running outside the MacPlus emulator or, needing to dig out the actual Plus or Fat Mac)

There's also Halo on the iPhone...but to play it, you have to solve Rubik's Cube blindfolded, on a ferry across Lake Michigan, in the 3rd week of March. No peeking.

I don't know that you will get that working or not on your iPhone, but there is a Dark Castle Forum that was created this year that is growing. Come and check it out, those of you that love Dark Castle. You will be able to find ways to re-live the memories... ;)

Hey!

If you are disappointed that Dark Castle wouldn't really work on your iPhone, here is some great news for you: the sequel to the original games has finally been completed after over 10 years. It will be called Return to Dark Castle. I have started a topic about it that contains a website where you can download the game as soon as it is available for download, probably at the end of the month. It will contain all the levels from the original Dark Castle and Beyond Dark Castle, as well as over 50 new levels.

Doesn't work for me...looks like a hoax. I'm sorry I wasted 5 minutes trying this.

EDIT: I was using 1.1.2, FWIW
