Will this external DVD burner work with a new iMac?

So basically, is it compatible with OSX (i.e. Finder, iTunes, iLife, etc...)?

Should work. I have a Samsung SH-S182M 18x DL LightScribe in a Firewire case working fine with Finder, Disk Utility and Toast. (I have La Cie's LightScribe software, which works great with it - free download, last I checked).

Thanks for the reply
I meant to ask, does it require any additional software to function, or is plugging it in enough to work in Finder, Disk Utility, iTunes, etc...?

Other than Toast and LightScribe, no 3rd party software/drivers needed.
