...has anybody noticed this, they seem lower than normal and alot cheaper. Last checked them out about 3 weeks ago and since then they definatly seem to have come down in price. The 1Ghz model has gone as well, leaving just the 1.25's in 3 configs.

I noticed this today btw.

This is for the UK however. It seems with edu discount i can get a dual 1.25 with a 17" screen for just over 1600 pounds. Leaving out the superdrive, memory and modem. Also something called the "country kit" is included with the systems.

I just took a look and the prices have come down a bit. I also noticed that the duals have 2 MB L3 cache per processor. If memory serves me, I think this means they must be running the 7457s (2 MB L3). Although maybe the 7455B also supports this?

Are you guys smoking too many 'dubies' over there?
It's been like that for about a month atleast. I checked it out back in mid august when was planning on ordering G5 or G4.

BTW, my G5 1.8 arrives tomorrow.
:D :D :D

What is what you said? Anyway, the way that the G4's are now are pretty much how it's been since they announced the G5.
