Newbie question about updating from 1.0.2 to 1.1.1

Hey guys,

Back at the beginning of Sept, I unlocked my iPhone to use on tmobile using the following guide:

My question is, can someone point me in the right direction on what guide I should be using on their site to upgrade to 1.1.1? Seems like there's a few on "virginizing", just want to make sure I do this right. Thanks.

1.1.1 problem on leopard

I tried to upgrade to 1.1.1 as just got iphone version 1.0.2 but itunes update is for 1.1.2. i went to the site suggested above and followed the link for 1.1.1 and instructions to install through itunes but it did not work...could it be something to do with the fact i have leopard??

any help, please!!

Did you click on update while holding option and then manually load the 1.1.1 file? Worked for me that way.

Yeah i did that, it lets me get to the folder for 1.1.1 in which, there are 3dmg files and a firmware folder but if i try to open them it says they are not recognized on my system?!!

were there 3dmg files when you did it?
