I'm not having much luck with UK iPhones!

My phone has 10 dead pixels and twice in the last hour the touch screen has stopped responding when using the iPod!

I clicked on every "button" on the screen and turned it sideways and nothing responded until I pressed the home button.

This has happened twice and although I was going to change the phone because of the dead pixels - having the most important part of the phone stop working is unbelievable!

Has anyone else had a problem like this?

Try resetting your iPhone (hold wake button and home button for several seconds)

Press the sleep button to put it to sleep, again to wake it and you should be fine.

If after resetting this, if the problem continues - obviously a repair and/or exchange is in your future.

They just launched - but is your software up to date? An update might even resolve it.

Not really an elegant solution.

But it works. It's happened to me where the screen stops responding, I hit the sleep/wake button twice and the screen is fine. This rarely happens though.
