duplicated apps ?

Ive just noticed that when i'm opening and mp3 track or an image there are things duplicated in the list of options, does anyone have any idea's

That happens from time to time (e.g. if you have had another disk attached with those applications on, typically a backup clone).

To reset the open with menu open Terminal and use this command:

/System/Library/Frameworks/ApplicationServices.framework/Frameworks/LaunchServices.framework/Support/lsregister -kill -r -domain local -domain system -domain user

Worked like a charm, only happened after backing up/cloning the boot drive,
