iTunes Keeps Maximizing

I'm not sure when this started. Whenever I run iTunes and some other program, iTunes yanks the focus away every few seconds. It's really annoying when I'm trying to listen to music while browsing the web and iTunes pops up every two seconds. It's made iTunes totally unusable.
 
try the simple things first like, trash the preferences for itunes, repair permissions, maybe trash itunes and re-download.
