Apple vs. Google

I just happened to notice and interesting trend on Apple vs. Google stock. The correlation works just for the past 6 months - at a year is doesn't track as well.

Is everyone who's buying Apple buying Google, or the other way around?

If you look at the NASDAQ composite you can see a similar trend. Tech stocks were the market leaders during the recent market run-up, and they're being similarly hammered now.
