So today I'm sitting in work thinking about the new powerbooks and how much I'd love one, but honnestly, I really don't need one. I got my baby right now, a 667 DVI model which has a gig of ram and the 40 gig HD. It works just fine and I have no intent of getting ride of it ever, but you know, I would really like to soup it up a little more. Is there any chance that a processor upgrade will ever come out for this machine? It would really make my day if I could bump this thing up to a 800 or 1 gig model in a year or two and then when 100 gig laptop hard drives come out, add one of those as well.

Probably not. All the existing PowerBook CPU upgrades are for machines with processors on cards. Your PowerBook had the processor soldered to the motherboard making upgrades pretty much impossible.
