.5 ghz, i love it. depending on condition i would say about 7-800 dollars. powerbooks are still nice. i sold my pismo powerbook less than a year ago for 800 dollars.

LOL doesn't half a gigahertz sound A LOT better than 500 Mhz...I crack myself up sometimes...
Hey..I was wondering...Do you think a 900Mhz G3 would be faster than the G4 Powerbook I have (The .5 ghz one).
Can i use the ram in the powerbook in the ibook if i decide to get one?

I queried Powermax.com about my machine just this week, they gave me a quote of 850 for my TiBook with 384mb DVD/CD. Which isn't bad, but I think I can get more than 850 dollars worth of use out of it still. I'll save up for a new machine and give my wife this one:p

personally i think more things would run much faster. a new machine, better video card, better everything almost. maybe a few altivec programs will run better, but im doubting it will since the extra 400mhz would probably make a bigger impact.

a pretty good amount, but probably not as much as you would hope because g5's are out now and shipping.

I am on a tight budget, but if you were willing to go to $800, I would be interested. As a matter of fact, I'd buy it!
If not, I understand.
I am on ebay ( MovesProductions)
Thanks!
