Downgrading to 1.11?

So, if I am understanding correctly... To downgrade I simply restore my iPhone. However, when I do so, it only takes me back to a clean 1.12 phone. Perhaps I am illiterate or am reading the wrong information, but could someone please point me in the right direction?

I just got my iPhone yesterday and actually wrote this post from it. Viva apple!
