Weird Keystroke problem.....

By some reason, my Macbook does not register my first keystroke when the keyboard is inactive after a while. This issue is happening after I upgraded to Leopard. This issue was not present in Tiger. Overall, I am pleased with Leopard, just that sometimes, it gets annoying when I am typing an url and it reads "acrumors.com" or "ww.apple.com" Any thoughts?
 
This has happened on my MBP since I had it - both under Tiger and now under Leopard. I am nnow used to it and just wait half a second before I start typing. Maybe I should complain but I just can't be bothered!😱
