Try mini golf. Much more fun. Just always take the easy shot around the castle instead of going through the drawbridge. You won't get a hole in one, but you set yourself up for an easy deuce. ;)

The Haleakala Volcano? Nah, that's a hefty drive to the top of the 10,000 foot summmit, we just horseback rode through the crater itself, which was amazing!

You did know that I backpacked through Australia for a couple months a few years ago, right? ;) Yes, I got my share of beaches there - I went all the way down the East Coast for Cairns to Sydney! The Great Barrier Reef (specifically the Whitsunday Islands) are still the best snorkeling sites I've ever been to. Hawaii definitely came in second though for me, especially around the Kanaio Coast and the Molokini Crater. But yes, Australia is one of my favorite places that I've visited. :cool:

I know the area well. I'm from Saint John-- up towards Grand Bay, actually. And my dad (70) had a boat from the age of 14 up until a few years ago. Needless to say, I've been all through the area.

He's definitely a rascal sometimes. But, you know, most of the time, he's a really good kid. For his birthday last month, we asked him what he wanted and he said that he wanted to get something for his little sister. Isn't that sweet?

The view. Oh, yeah, I had the pleasure of looking out those windows for twenty years or so. The view is great but the backyard is still very private. There's even a little "beach" down below.

wow another Saint Johner on MacRumors, who would have thought? I think I can tell where that photo is jut by the view, I know the rivers too well, I worked the past two years as a watercourse morphology analyst so I've been knee-deep in everything from the Kennebecasis to Marsh Creek :o it's is a beautiful area to study, the rivers are simply amazing when you consider how deep they are in places, it's a shame that much of my work has shown me how much they are in danger from suburban development and pollution, makes me sad to no end

I kind of figured you'd be able to pinpoint the location. It's about a kilometer or so up from the marina.

i found out recently that i have a bad ticker too. my resting pulse is always really high (in the high 90's to 100's) and they had some other indication something was wrong and sent me for an echocardiogram. it was then that i noticed they spent way too much time looking at (what i thought of as) the "red-shift / blue-shift" portion of the test... the blood was not completely going where it belongs. lousy valve is leaking/regurgitating. my heart just has to over-compensate for its poor efficiency so it beats rather fast. damn it (http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/000176.htm) i am not totally sure of the etiology of it because i went on vacation before i could find out more. part of me doesn't want to know and doesn't really care. if they think i am giving up a single one of my hobbies for it they got another thing coming. stupid heart.

Why thank you. To achieve this make-up effect I use marker pens. Permanent ink works best... saves the hassle of having to wash off at night and re-apply in the morning.

Certificate was from the Gorden West Radio School, when I met Gorden West in Dallas this summer, anyhow he gives out certificates to those who get their Extra class amateur radio license, and I have had mine since last Feburary, so I got a certificate, and I thought it could fill the void on that part of the room. The "White Album" poster came from the Grapevine Mills in Grapevine, TX (suburb in the DFW area). It happens to be the largest mall in Texas. The poster is a few years old, and looking kind of warn. Next to it, you might notice the original Apple poster, my personal favorite out of all the Apple posters (The picture only shows the bottom). That was a gift from father.

So yes, the big guy in the picture isn't very attractive, but I do have some nice posters behind me.

I've done modeling before, so doing some stuff for free for a change is no problem whatsoever! Actually the thought didn't even cross my mind! SO, what are our next steps on this project? ;) :cool:

I guess I should add to this thread at some point. It's surprisingly hard to find a good picture of yourself. I don't want one that is like a school photo, I want it to have some personality, but not too crazy. Here is my girlfriend and I, this was taken with photo booth so that is why the quality sucks.
