Before you ask, that is my Heil proset that I use as my headset on my HF radio (amateur radio, operating on the High Frequency bands). Took that shot during a contest and I think it turned out well.

I haven't posted any pics for the Public Photo Directory for a while, so I thought I'd put up some new ones. They were taken quickly with poor lighting, but you know, whatever... :cool:

Shard! You know you are one of my fave MR hotties, but man- what's up with the hair? It's too flat and so not you. Dude, you need something way more lively- something messier and a bit shorter. I don't think this 'do fits your personality.

Otherwise, I'd do you in a second. ;)

Haha - thanks for the feedback Lee. ;) :D Just trying something different, that's all. :o I like changing my look from time to time, and thought I'd go with the longer hair for a while, since I did the "short and messy" thing for a couple years.

After all, many men don't have the luxury of having long, thick hair to play with (far too many of my friends are getting thin on top!), so I figure if I got it, I might as well enjoy it! :cool:

When I change it again, I'll be sure to post an updated shot for ya. ;)

Up until recently, I ran the Tibathon, which is the National Hyundai Tiburon meet. It started in 04 in Las Vegas, was in Daytona Beach last year, and will be in Chicago this year.

Not sure how far Regina is from there :/

(rdtiburon.com is also a cool site for Tibs, I'm friends with the owners, and the guy who runs it, is also the N. American rep for KSPEC (kspec.com)..good guys).

I know some Minneapolis people that are going to attend this event. I may have to ride down and take some pictures. The closest thing I have to a Tib, is a 81 VW Scirocco S, so I wouldn't fit in with any of my cars :( .

As for the whole “highlights” issue, that was a very interesting debate guys, thanks for that. ;)

Everyone has their own opinions though, and that’s what makes things fun. Previous girlfriends of mine have loved short hair, while others have hated it, and then the same goes for longer hair. Some prefer a certain look, others like a different look, it’s all good. It’s important to have individual personal tastes to keep things interesting. ;) :cool:

It also makes your Lips look BIG and blue. I think you need more oxygen and need to keep your mouth away from vacuum cleaners when the switch is in the ON position :D .

She'd appreciate the "young woman" comment, seeing as she's 40 :p I, of course, think she's beautiful no matter what, but along with the belly comes water retention and, in her words, a "fat face". Also, since this is the third, things move along a little more quickly.

Yeah, it's just that it doesn't suit you. Nothing wrong with trying something different, after all I had long surfer hair at one point in my life too before I knew what looked good, but man you're too old for this... :D

Great, another thing for you all to find unbelievable.. I have 'hardened enamel' on my teeth. It came from eating calcium pills for 2 years in highschool (I got paranoid my bones would become brittle, I actually grew an extra tooth they had to remove, but anyway) my teeth don't allow the normal dirt and plaque to enter them and doesn't discolor. Just in case you were wondering, this is after I had them laser whitened. Any dentists here that can vouch for me?

It was taken in Calgary, Alberta. Went there last year for a week. My buddy who helped start Neteller flew 3 of us up and took us on a golf vacation that was crazy. I think that course was called Valley Ridge just outside the city limits.

My new camera's a Canon A620 (7.1MP) I love it, an awesome upgrade from my old HP 3MP camera. And yeah, Yoo-hoo does come in cans, tall ones and regular sized ones. I think I can go for another one soon hehe :p :D

I went to vegas in mid to end March this year and didn't get to see them! The venetian by the way, is the most enormous hotel I think there is anywhere,

but I did see Celine dion (amazing show) and all the other touristy things to do.

I went online to get bmg tickets but they had them listed as being in NY. Anyway, I got there and there were huge ads for them everywhere. Looks like it was a fun show! :)

Yeah, the fountain show is pretty spectacular. :)

Anyway, to prove to you that I'm right, just do a search for the largest hotels in the world. About 10 out of the top 20 are all in Vegas, with the MGM being either the largest or second largest hotel in the entire world, with the Luxor and Mandalay Bay following it IIRC. :cool:

I'm ashamed to say I nicked them from a chemist in Kings Cross. I was a right little tea leaf in those days. Mind you with $2 a week pocket money I was forced into a life of crime.

Not really. It was bearly OK for a weekend. bus fares to the beach were 5c and hot chips were 20c. Maybe equivalent to about AUD $16 today. Say US $10. Those glasses were AUD$ 5.99 even then.

I don't think its capable of growing that long, the most its ever been was right above my shoulders and even then it was too much to handle. My hair's naturally curly so naturally as well, its high maitenence so I tend to keep it short.

I'm actualy overdue for another cut, I was thinking about those pics and how I could adapt it to a shorter style, I really liked the bangs on that thing.

That would probably be too long as well, anything below the ears ends up growing too fast and becoming frizzy again. I don't know if I've got the face for an Amelie type cut, hers is more heart shaped than mine which is more on the oval side. I think I did have bangs like that once or twice when I cut my hair really short. A friend of mine said I looked like a Beatle. :o

Flat irons are the greatest piece of technology ever (aside from PowerBooks and digicams... :p) If you get a nice one (~$50.. I got a deal!) it can keep your hair lookin' good all day.

If you get one that goes really, really hot, it'll take about 10 minutes to straighten it.
But I know I'm lazy and my current haircut demands straightening.. I see myself keeping up with it for about a week. :o

I've got one but I haven't used it in awhile. Not the most powerful thing but it did the job when my hair was shorter. And the maitenence was why I decided to keep it short, there's just less to mess with...

But I'll talk to my hairdresser nest time I'm over there and see what she'll whip up. :D

Haha, thanks. I assume you're talking about the hair, and not the hidden message. Only thing I do is wash and condition, add a nice little amount of gel, and then blow dry it.

I'm a pretty simple guy.
