That would have been a valid reason for litigating.
I would have done, but I really don't like the idea of constantly sueing everyone. My dad does it, and as much as I hate the council, I don't want to drag myself that low. If it had actually hurt me, I would have sued them until they had to pull money from where the sun don't shine...

Yes that is mine. I took that with my webcam a few days ago and posted it on another forum I go to. As for the muscle, I've just always been that way. Lean and muscle. My teacher thought I'd make an excellent person for cross country, if I didn't have asthma partially caused by my parents and stepparents smoking habits. :( I work out too from time to time, but I'm not one of those day in day out people.

No hard feelings meant.
The way you're holding your shirt makes it look like a tutu.
Which is funny in context as you're defining masculinity as muscle, flexing etc.

neat! i've had my car on a track once, and hope to do it more often next year. it's nice to feel more "secure" in a car on a track than on an open 2-wheeled vehicle.
thunderhill is a nice track, but it's in the middle of nowhere and is hot as hades in the summer. if you go there, definitely try to avoid going in july and august.
Wow, sweet bike.
thanks! i loved that bike. but, i found i was just riding less and less, and lost my addiction to riding on the track. i think my next addiction will be taking my car on the track, though...

devilot, I hate to say it but the last pic was only from about a week and a half ago. I'm hoping that means I'm not going to be giving birth to an 11 lb baby like my sister did last month. Also, very sadly, the doctor said it would be okay if I didn't gain any more weight (seriously sucky!) since I've already gained about 25 lbs. :p I am either incubating a very dense baby or I have many places to hide the weight.

No advertisements. ;) Honestly, flash ads are becoming so invasive that you can't do any work and half the time the page freezes, particularly on vBulletin boards.
And you get perks you wouldn't get if you didn't pay.

You look great now. You'll pick up speed soon and you probably won't recognise yourself for a little while. Hope things go well with the rest of the time.
I've always heard how miserable pregnant women are during the summer but I wonder if there is equivalent discomfort during the winter. I suppose it depends on whether you're warm enough normally.
So far it's been all right being pregnant in the colder weather. Luckily, I was only in the beginning stages during the hottest time of the year, but even then I noticed an increase in body temperature so it was slightly more unbearable than usual. I'd hate to have to deal with that and all the other later pregnancy symptoms, too.
The only part now that kind of stinks is the little issue with sickness. I'm definitely more limited in what I can take to alleviate symptoms. Case in point, the hubby and I both got a cold about the same time. He was able to take NyQuil and DayQuil and it went away in a few days. I, on the other hand, have tried to play it safe by using more homeopathic remedies, such as saline spray, a humidifier and the occasional cough drop. It's been about a week and a half and I'm still battling with a slight cough and have to spend half the morning clearing out all the stuff that's accumulated in my nose and lungs during the night. I guess that's the drawback of having a weakened immune system during pregnancy. Oh, well. I still think it's a far better trade than dealing with summer heat right now.
There sure is. Thanks for sharing, floriflee.
Nice to see the radiant floriflee again. :)
Awww.. Thanks! :) It's nice to be back. We'll see how long the lappy lasts this time. One more problem and I get to trade it in for a new one. I wonder if they'd let me swap out for a MacBook..... :D

I went hiking in the Griffith park area today with my hetero life-mate Rian. You can see that I was wearing clothes (and shoes) wholly inappropriate for hiking. I don't do this very often. :o The second picture is me making a face that my friend Nick calls "Takin' her to the BONEYARD." Rian and I want to make this face in front of basically every L.A. landmark and get photographic evidence thereof, but since we didn't make it to the observatory, that overlook of Glendale had to do.

It's a good thing because someone there would have complained that you weren't wearing clothes, not to mention that it's probably cold outside.

Something does not compute...why are desktop computers next to refridgerators?

Haha, yeah, that was me when they were demonstrating the camera, before I decided to buy it, hence the reduced levels of glee :)

True, plus it's probably wise to wear as much protection as possible, in close proximity to a Sony camera, given that it uses a Sony battery :)

For overclocking? :) I always find it weird to see Future Shop selling appliances right by all the high tech stuff too. They sell TVs and stereos too, so maybe it's a general home appliance kind of theme.

I've been on this site for a couple of years or so but have only recently started exploring the non-"Powerbook G5 soon?" threads. So I think its time I joined in more of the communal activities.
Here's a tiny one to begin with. Don't want to show you the whole gallery on our first encounter :)

Figure out my drink in the picture and I'll uhh... give you a cookie. From the way it looks so light, I think that the cup's contents is 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen, 0.97% argon, and 0.04% carbon dioxide.

Agreed - in that second one (thanks to the Photoshopping) he looks like he belongs in Madame Tussaud's... ;) :D
IMO Photoshop is not necessary when we're just sharing normal pictures of ourselves here - why touch them up unnecessarily? And if a person is going to use Photoshop, please use it appropriately... ;)
