Thanks for the english...WOW! I would LOVE to have that. So much better then I VCR. VEry nice for the digital hub...where is apple's version....

You guys are missing something here. Its USB, hello, the data rate sucks! You're much better off with a firewire system, and they're available, but probably a bit more. You're better off hooking up your DVCamera to the firewire and using that.
This is totally aimed at the low end market. Mpeg1 and Mpeg2 compression isn't all that good, and then you have to worry about sound too.

um... its same as the Formac Studio here in the states...
at least the formac is firewire :D

formac studio says 28 Mbits/s DV, the jap device is 6 Mbits/s Mpeg2

that's interesting, but what's the point if it does the same thing as Formac Studio?
