I have an imac 24'' running leopard, CPU usage was 50%~60% with only safari open, according to istat. After i went to activity monitor and quitted the PrintJobMgr, it went down to only 2-10%!!!!!

Hehe....just though i'd share.....😀

Sounds like something was hanging. I don't even have a PrintJobMgr process running (or anything with Print, Job or Mgr in the name). My DashboardClient has been really finicky the last couple days, though, and seems to be unresponsive again.

EDIT: Although this time at least, my Dashboard itself it still working perfectly. Previously I could see the Dashboard but not use the widgets. But its seems to be fine despite Activity Monitor saying it's not responding.

Googling it brings up a lot of talks of it hanging. An example is how apparently using the fax functionality can hang it.
