I figured I might as well start this off in PRSI, since it's bound to end up here anyways.....

Why would he start the bidding off at $50,000? If he wants to sell it he should start the bidding at $20 with no reserve..... rookie.

Hey, at least there's free shipping (only in the US).

Why would they ship that? If they're crazy enough to actually see Jesus in that piece of wood, they're likely crazy enough to think that the abuse that package will take in transit is sacrilege.
If it were me, I'd arrange local pickup, and bring a chainsaw with me and slice up the piece of wood right in front of the guy :D

I see...
Steve Jobs - holding an iPhone in his right hand, wearing some strange wood-textured garment.

Funny how this goes against basically everything He taught. I at least hope any money made will go to a good charity, but it looks like there won't be much anyway...

It's been a dream of mine to find a religious figure in an inanimate object and make tons of money selling it to a really dumb person.
I think it's been done with a potato chip, grilled cheese, this wood, and more.
One day, my dream will come true.

After reading the OP's post, I feel stupid now. I took a dump the other day that I swear looked like the Virgin Mary. I bet you I could have gotten at least $10,000 for it. No wonder the rest of the world is laughing at us.

At the top is 'Jesus'' head tilted down with his arms out and in a robe type of deal.
I can see it, but definitely not worth 50k...

Jesus? I can see a sleeve thing going on there, but the head looks like Pee Wee Herman yawning to me.

Isn't he still responsible for part of the fee, even if it doesn't sell?
