as a 2 months 867mhz 12"Pb user, I have a questionmark on my mind about where the heat comes from..

when I work with "ice" (thats his ironic name :)) the surface which is under my left palm gets warmer than my right one.. is there any hardwaric reason for that, or just because I'm a right-handed person and air sirculation cools the PB whenever I raise my hand to use my external mouse??

The HDD is right under th left palm, I'm pretty sure thats whats generates all the heat. I've used demo models at my local reseller and its one of the reasons im getting the 15 incher instead.

Right on the dot. Im on my 12 incher right now and I just uploaded 92MB of JPEG images, causing the left palm rest (Hard drive) to heat up a bit.
