I need to make a keynote presentation using my macbook next week, I'm in the market for a mini-DVI out adaptor. The problem is that I don't know exactly what video input the video projector has, and have no way of finding out before hand. Its PROBABLY going to be a standard analogue job, but the Apple website has a lot of different adaptors and I'd like to use the thing more than once with different devices like my LG monitor which has a digital input!

So what I'm looking for is:

[mini DVI]-------->Everything (or as much as possible)

Can anyone point me in the direction of such an adaptor?

In my opinion your best bet would be to buy two adaptors: one mini-DVI to VGA, and one mini-DVI to DVI, which should cover everything.

What about MiniDVI -> Video?

I think that the MiniDVI->DVI (Apple branded specifically mind you) will work with a DVI-VGA adapter, but don't quote me on that.

I personally bought all of them, and haven't really regretted it. They have all been used at least once, and that alone paid for them IMO.
