Slide or Press?

Not really important, but does anyone elses iphone sometimes prompt a slide to answer a call, and sometimes a press? Normal?

It will have you slide if the phone was locked (i.e. when you would have to slide to wake it up anyway)

and it will just let you press if it's already unlocked (you've already done the slide to wake it up and use it, and now it's ringing)

I like pressing though, more fun then sliding(in this situation), and easier.
