Upgrading from my 60gb hd in my macbook to a 250gb hd that I just got in the mail from macsales.com. I got the old one out fine and put the new one in fine but when it comes to the 3rd step of the Install Mac OS X disc Process "select a destination" it doesnt show anything to select, I know its supposed to show an animated picture of a harddrive and also how many gb it has but it shows absolutly nothing. I looked under disk utility and system profiler and the new harddrive shows up i both but for some reason nothing show up under step 3 "select a destination" in the install Mac Os X process. Also when i just try to quit the install process and it asks me to select a startup disk it only has a pic of the mac OS X install disc and a pic that says network startup. What gives?

Have you formatted the hard drive to OS Extended (Journaled)? That happened to me because I forgot to format the darn thing. You need to do that in disk utility before it will show up in the installer screen.
